Who likes to earn extra income?

Have you ever thought that you would like to earn a passive income, or at least an extra income to sustain your personal and family needs and wants?

Why do people need and want money?

  • To buy basic necessities.
  • To attend school.
  • To send children to school.
  • To give family a good life.
  • To have money for leisure.
  • To buy car.
  • To buy own house.
  • an lots of different reasons...
Everyone is qualified to earn an extra income.  But there are actually qualifications that would make one be successful.
  • Determination.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Action.
  • Believe in oneself.
Do you have those traits?  Of maybe if you lack all those, but is willing to learn, make your first step.  According to Martin Luther King, Jr...
Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
I myself had taken the first step on earning money.  I got three businesses.  On all those three, I told myself that I would try, and give all myself.  And I am lucky that I am successful.

On my businesses, I share my blessing.  I share what I do to those interested.  Just like on my online shop, I earn when they earn.

If you are interested on knowing more about what I am talking about, make sure to contact me through the following...

Let Your Brochure Speak For You

A brochure is a brochure. But should it be a normal brochure? Everyone had seen a brochure. And most of the time, people just try to flip and look (not read), and just throw it away or leave it somewhere. We don't like that to happen, do we? Spending money for brochure advertising and people would not appreciate or read your what you want to let them know... that's a waste of money.

Why not let your brochure speak for you. Design, quality and uniqueness of the brochure can make a lot of difference. Bright pictures, image and text quality, and even games like puzzle add points to making a brochure noticeable.

So make sure to talk with your local brochure printing company about advertising and making your brochure sell your product or service.

Advertising for a Shop

The advertising signs on signs fredericksburg va are of good service. If you want to run your own advertising, you got to let people know about your business. And for that, you need something to "tell aloud" about your business.

You would need a building sign that you would post outside your store or company building, and some few in the insides of your office or store.  This is a must to tell walk-ins that you are a business.  Window lettering add professionalism to your store too.

Banners and signs posted in places where people are always present would be a sure hit advertising.  There might be interested people that would call or visit your store.

If you have a vehicle, you can turn it into an advertising tool too.  Vehicle lettering and decals, and vehicle wraps are a cool way of getting people's attention.  If you have a truck you use on your business, turn it into a big advertising billboard.  Don't just display the name of your business on your truck.  Display what service you do through pictures.

A little thinking before opening a small business

If you're thinking of having your own business, you got to think everything from capital, equipments, manpower, and marketing.

Capital: How much would you need to prepare to be able to start your business? How much do you need to buy or lease equipments? How much do you need to be able to sustain salary of your people within a few months of starting the business? How about office rent, tax and all the monthly bills?

Equipment: Should you buy necessary equipments, or sign up for a small business equipment lease? How about the taxes involved when buying or leasing the equipments? What are the equipments you need?

Manpower: Can you be a one-armed business, or you need to hire people to work for you? Try to think all the jobs and deliveries. Hire a handful of people while just on the start up. Add more people when needed.

Marketing: How and where should you advertise your product or service?

NuSkin Member Tactics To Get Referrals

I never knew this tactic of NuSkin exists! Does this NuSkin strategy of getting referral members still exist?

A member would tell a friend of a business venture she would like her friend to join, that this business is a sure hit, or there's some job that needs people to fill in... They wouldn't tell the friend what company, or what is exactly the position of the job. They would trick their friend into going somewhere, in a specified address. Then the friend would be shock that it's NuSkin, the company wherein you would pay an amount to be a member, get the equivalent products based on the membership fee (I think), and you sell. You also need to refer people to join under you to get referral fees.  And the main source of income from them is to refer new members, not to sell their products.

The blog post on the link above is year 2008, month of September.  So I don't know if that company still exist or whether the members still do that foul strategy to get referrals.  Other companies like them... I don't know if do that kind of strategy.

And now, I hope people are wiser, to join such company means they would sell the product and not just refer people.  And before joining, I hope people would ask and know the company name and details of the company before submitting and going to a company.

Company Giveaways

I love company giveaways! The fact is, I love freebies, whatever it is. I think one of the best ads a company can do as their marketing campaign is to give giveaways. It might be a cost to the company, but it's a long advertising campaign. And doesn't most of the advertising strategies would really cost an amount?

Good company giveaways that really last long are coffee cups, promotional bags, mouse pads and many more. Just think of all the stuff that is not too costly but is a necessity. And don't forget about durability. If it breaks easily, then that's not a cool company giveaway.

On the item, be sure to have your contact information and your website (if it's available). People loves getting freebies even if they won't use it. They check on the labels and checks on your website. That's instant advertising! They might even forward your website to their friends if they found your product and services interesting.

And they would also tend to give some of the extra freebies they got to their family, relatives and friends. You are now reaching out to a more wide audience.

How Important Is A Barcode Scanner?

I am really fond of how barcode scanners work. It is so amazing how it eases up the work of all cashiers in the world. Just imagine how a world without barcode scanners.

On the grocery stores, where there are no barcode scanners, cashiers and even owners do have errors in computing the total amount of bill of the customer. In the market on our place, there's this grocery where they handed us a change that is too way bigger than the right change. The owner handed us a 500 Peso bill, which it should only be 50 Pesos. If the customer is kind-hearted, he'll return the extra change. Let's also talk about the extra charge the customer pays to the grocery. Imagine, how many errors there are without barcode scanners. Chaos!!!

Giveaways doesn't belong to the trash can...

My uncle visited us here in the Philippines. He's from United States of America. He gave us some giveaways of his company. My sister and I were totally amazed of the ball pens. We ask him if those are really company giveaways. He said yes.

We thought those ball pens are cool! We hadn't seen such giveaway ball pens with good quality. His words of wisdom... "A company better have quality giveaways. It reflects the company's image. Good promotional items means a lot to customers. And if you would really want to promote your company, would it be nice if people won't just throw your giveaways on trash?"

I think he got a point on there.

Cool Advertisements

If your ads are cool and unique like these, people will sure to try your products :) Or even if they don't know what your product is, they might check it out on the internet, provided that you have put your product name on your cool advertisement.

Hey, we have our own cool bus advertisement here in the Philippines. Remember the Dunkin Donut's commercial, about a bald buy drinking hot coffee or choco who is sitting on a bus? I actually saw a bus like that! It is really neat! And guess what. On the window is a male sitting right next to the painted body on the bus :)

Source: I got this from an e-mail.

Perfect Giveaways

I'm thinking of nice giveaways for Ivan's 1st birthday. I'm not yet sure if I'll have one. Maybe I'll have some for the godparents, family and my friends. But I'm thinking of a giveaway that one will use over and over and over. I don't like those display objects. Many have been receiving those kinds. I want something unique.

This cool usb thumb drive gives me an idea as a great giveaway for my Ivan's first birthday celebration. The custom laser engraving really puts a bulb on my head. Since the engraving is free, and you would only pay for the thumb drive and the low shipping fee, I guess I would really think about this one.

Personalized Flash Drives

I think this idea is great for corporate giveaways too. Companies have been giving away ballpens, stationary or mugs. When you give your best clients thumb drives as gift, I'm sure they would be surprised. And as marketing tool, you can give your clients software brochures saved on those thumb drives.

I have never thought of Personalized Flash Drives as giveaways before.
