Chickie Boy's Birthday Celebration at Max's Restaurant 2017

We had a blast last August 5, 2017! It's Chickie Boy's Birthday Party! It's our first time to attend a birthday party on Max's Restaurant and all I can say is... more parties to attend at Max's for us!

The party was at Max's Restaurant Scout Tuazon Quezon City. I was amazed with the venue. It's a whole package!

The party itself + a stage (yes a stage where you or anyone can perform or act) + food and snacks + games  + giveaways = FUN 100%

My 4 year old kid really enjoyed the party. It's her first time to see Chickie Boy. After I took this photo, she quickly hug Chickie Boy. I wasn't prepared for it. I wasn't able to take a picture of that moment.

When we arrive, we got a Party Passport that entitles the kid to all the fun stuff! Just look at how big the venue is!

There's a juggler to entertain both adults and kids.



Ivy's wearing the crown we made. She played the Hit The Blocks and Dart A Balloon. She had fun! Although she had trouble on Shoot That Ball but still she made it!

She also got a ball. She and the other kids got addicted on this area :)


There's a Princess! Every girl wants to be a princess. Ivy exclaimed "Wow" when she saw the beautiful Princess with the castle backdrop. Really, it's our first time to attend a party where you can take a picture with a princess. She is so happy. Of course, the mommy too.

Mazuki Noodles

One of the noodles I love is Mazuki. I went to SM Megamall to meet-up with a buyer. I was so hungry but still so picky of the restaurant to enter. All I know at that time is that I want noodles. It just so happened that I am in the basement (because of printing some documents in Netopia) when I saw Mazuki. Without any hesitation, I entered Mazuki restaurant and here's what I got.
I love the noodles and the noodle sauce. I think I had 3 small of those sauce!

The only turn off is that there's a cockroach that crawled to a lady sitting on the next table beside me. I guess cockroach is part of every Mazuki restaurant? But anyway, I really do not mind it. I think the lady and her family just got a little "mess" with the cockroach. And then everyone's happily eating their noodles. If you are a Mazuki noodles fan, you'll know what I mean.

True Deli Cafe

I just discovered True Deli Cafe and why it serves it's purpose as a modern cafe. Why just now!

Typically when one goes back to a cafe or to a coffee shop, it would be either because of the food, the ambiance, the peacefulness-feel, the sockets where you can charge your tech stuff, or the fad.  It can be one of those reasons, or a combination of those.  True Deli Cafe will make you go back there because of all the reasons, except that it's not a fad to go there.

Who cares about the fad thing!  What I want in a coffee shop or cafe with sockets where I can charge my mobile phone (very important in my line of business), not too crowded (all seats can be full, but won't make the whole cafe like a can of sardines, and the ambiance.  And the food too of course!

My the way, True Deli Cafe is located just below MRT GMA-Kamuning, on the side going to south.

Their menu is cool :) words in Tagalog.

Krispy Kreme Halloween Donuts Review 2016

I bought some Krispy Kreme Halloween Donuts in celebration of Halloween 2016.  I wasn't able to buy all flavors (that would be my goal next year).

The skeleton is okay. The one with the gumny worms, well I wasn't able to try because my son loves it.  He hates food that are so sweet.  So I can safely say that this is not sweet.  I should buy some more of this.  The rest are all so sweet.  It just so happen that we are not sweet lovers.  But for those with sweet tooth, they would surely love the donuts!

7-Eleven Califonia Maki

7-Eleven has Califonia Maki in their 7 Fresh corner and that makes me so happy! Each pack has 4 pieces yummy califonia maki, with Kikkoman Sushi & Sashimi Soy Sauce and Kinjirushi Brand Grated Wasabi.

This is so great as dinner, or maybe as midnight snack!

I just hope that this would be more widely available in 7-Eleven branches.

I am so addicted to Dr. Pepper Softdrinks. I have tried the cherry flavor. But sorry, I like the original one.  We bought Dr. Pepper at S&R.  My kids love this softdrinks.  Even my baby loves it.  I am not a softdrink drinker (because of my age).  But if there is one Dr. Pepper, I would give myself a break and have one to satisfy myself.  I guess a can won't hurt?  Yes.

Cidacos Garbanzos Con Verduras Extra is a product drom Spain imported to the Philippines (and maybe to other parts of the world. It is a ready-to-eat chick peas with mixed vegetables in a bottle.



I am expecting chicken chunks inside. I can see what's inside the bottle... pea-shaped chicken-meat colored thingy. And I still buy it! So it's kind of my own mistake. I just depend my expectation on the color of the chick peas. Setting aside the taste of the chick peas and my expectation, the packaging and the taste is great for me.
