Buying A Car? What To Consider?

Sponsored post

Cars, it has become one of the things one should consider when one has a family. Although it is not a thing that's going to make a family "disable" without. But having a car is so convinient to the kids and to oneself too. It kind of become one of the necessity, depending on the lifestyle and environment of the family.

Why do a family needs to have a car even if you can hire a taxi, or book a car for hire from using those mobile applications? I, for one, book a car from those mobile applications almost everyday, and even more than once a day. But we have a car. My husband uses it. And driving the kids to school or attending a special occassion or a party, driving our own car is more convinient.

We have typical car. We parents and two kids, we fit inside. Plus another adult, yes we all still fits. But adding another two adults, we're like a can of sardines!

The next motor vehicle we will consider is something big, like an SUV. There are more things to consider when buying for a car. Would it be a brand new or a used one. The budget greatly affects this option.

Another thing to consider is, would the car be driven just in the metro, or would you need to drive far, fast or even to those high lands? Consider everything before buying a car. With this, I am not an expert :) I think my husband is not too. I found Cars.com to have car reviews that we can consider checking out to get more details on the vehicle, even on the technical side of it.

Cars are not cheap. So ask friends, check reviews, and consider the car that would fit your lifestyle.

Truck Driving Jobs With Training

Who says being a truck driver is a low-salary job?  Had you watched Ice Road Truckers (TV episode)?  Well, those driver's salary are way up high!  And if you know someone in the trucking business or with any company whose items are being loaded into a big truck, to be delivered to somewhere far, then you can ask them how much the drivers are making for every load delivered.  You would be surprise for sure.

So, you're a driver.  Or maybe you know driving.  And you want to try your luck as a big truck driver, you can learn to drive a big truck by enrolling yourself in one of the available truck driving schools.

Before you can learn to drive the big wheels, I guess it's best to learn how to drive a car.  Just imagine driving a 14-wheeler truck and having an accident because you're new to driving, and it's your first time to go out to the real world, driving.  Accidents with a 14-wheeler or any big wheels, compare to a car, is really troublesome.

Tip:  If you would be enrolling in a truck driving school, make sure to check if it would be a some kind of a "truck driving jobs with training" type of learning. It's like a job on training. You drive in the real world but it's just a training. And you get a salary for it.  This way, you won't have a hard time looking for a company to work for.  Of course, companies wants their new employees that are well-trained in such work like driving.  No one would like to hire a new driver, right?

If you are a driver, and want to start to drive the big wheels, but don't know where to enroll, you can try and check out Stevens Trucking on Facebook.  Changing a career for the better is the best!

Check motorcycle tires to avoid accident

Motorcycles are really prone to accidents. If you would observe and check surveys, riding a motorcycle is really life-risking. Unlike you are inside a four-wheeler motor vehicle like car, or van, or any vehicle with more than four wheels, when accidents happen, riders of motorcycle might be thrown away. A little bump to the motorcycle makes the rider's life at risk.

It's not just other vehicles bumped the motorcycle or vice versa. There are also other accidents due to nature, or due to the health condition of the driver. I saw lots of motorcycle do stop when rain begins to fall. It's not because they would stop just to wear a rain coat. When the road begins to get wet because of rain, the road becomes slippery. I had saw motorcycles slip in the middle of the road when the rain falls. There are also incidents when braking fails because of old tires. Always check the tires if replacement is needed. Try to buy michelin motorcycle tires. Life is important. So make sure you buy high quality tires to avoid accidents.

Safety Lights for Vehicles

For the past few days, I went home late because of hectic schedule of a project. My good husband fetch me from the office everyday. But I am worried whenever we're going home. I'm worried about street accidents.
  • I hate people who just pops up from nowhere. And they are the one angry when you almost hit them.
  • I hate jeepneys and tricycles with no lights on. Isn't a rule for vehicles to have lights on when it's dark?
  • I hate bicycles with no safety lights. Please, love your life.
  • I hate motorcycle drivers who doesn't really know road rules. And many of the motorcycle lights are off or out!
We can't see them clearly. Next time, if we would be lucky, we would buy a new car. And we would install safety lightings like the xenon lights. The lights does look like the one on the images below.

Safety on road is still the best policy. Be a responsible motorist. Be a good road-crosser.
