Tumblr Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines is SO COOL! (January 27, 2014)
Do you hate going through reading the terms of service, privacy policy and community guidelines of companies and websites? I am one of those who feel that I would just make a quick scan or maybe just scroll down to the bottom to click on the "I Agree" button.
But first time in my life (well I hadn't read any kind like this one before), I had read a terms of service and other guidelines that would catch the attention of all.
Behold, the Tumblr Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines!
The composer of these documents just wrote the new guides in a very witty, funny and amusing way. It's like a "in your face", telling you straight to not do this and that. I am pretty sure that many people who aren't good at reading and understanding complicated terms of service (like me) would really appreciate the new Tumblr guidelines.
And they even put a sample to make it clear for people who are not good at understanding terms of services type of documents.
And well, straight forward!
And very expressive!!!
And there's more! So go check on Tumblr's Terms of Service and other documents. If you are curious about this, check it out at http://www.tumblr.com/policy/en/terms-of-service
And make sure you also ready the policy and guidelines links, not just for your curiosity and amusement, but most importantly to know what they want to tell us. Well whatever!

You have to be at least 13 years old to use Tumblr. We're serious: it's a hard rule, based on U.S. federal and state legislation. “But I’m, like, 12.9 years old!” you plead. Nope, sorry. If you're younger than 13, don't use Tumblr. Ask your parents for a Playstation 4, or try books.
Tumblr may determine your location by using drone technology and live video feeds. Ha ha, no, we just check out your IP address or any location data you attach to a post. Normal stuff.

Note also that this license to your Subscriber Content continues even if you stop using the Services, primarily because of the social nature of Content shared through Tumblr’s Services - when you post something publicly, others may choose to comment on it, making your Content part of a social conversation that can’t later be erased without retroactively censoring the speech of others.
One thing you should consider before posting: When you make something publicly available on the Internet, it becomes practically impossible to take down all copies of it.
And well, straight forward!
Harm to Minors. Be thoughtful when posting anything involving a minor. Don't post or solicit anything relating to minors that is sexually suggestive or violent. Don’t bully minors, even if you are one. Being a teenager is complicated enough without the anxiety, sadness, and isolation caused by bullying.
And very expressive!!!
Dick.
