Medical Career Training

Health-related business has been very popular nowadays. The reason for this is because more and more people are getting sick. This is a very unfortunate event because sickness is cause by the smoke and other kinds of polution we inhale everyday, the unhealthy foods we eat especially those fatty and junk foods and so much more.

That is why nurses are so in demand whereever you go. We need nurses on the clinics and hospitals. But maybe, it is not just the nurses that are really in demand. We might be forgetting those "other" people that plays a very important role on the health world. They are the ultrasound tech or are sometimes called as "sonographer", and so many more that without them, no test can be done, and doctors would not know what is our health condition.

There are actually ultrasound technician school that offers trainings for the would-be sonographers. I am pregnant and have been bleeding for more than 2 weeks. A sonographer had check on how I and my baby are doing. The result as I have understand it was not too bad. Medications can solve my bleeding with the said result. But after taking a second ultrasound for a second opinion, the result was threatening. I was hospitalized.

I first thought that being a sonographer, you would just need to understand how the body works and how should it look like on the ultrasound machine screen. Well, I was wrong. A good training should make one perfect. You might want to check out the list of those ultrasound tech school and see what they can offer.

You know, in Ireland, if you're a Filipino nurse your application for a work visa is pretty much automatically granted! And if you're the dependent of a Filipino nurse with a valid work visa, your visa is automatically granted and expedited. The Philippines and Ireland obviously have some agreement on the matter. Oh how I wish I was a nurse because I really want to go back to Ireland!

Anyway, glad there's no word limit on your comments! Thanks so much for letting me advertise on your blog!

I am working in a IT company. We have a client that is a recruitment company. And that company does send nurses to Ireland :)

That's a good thing about Ireland and Philippines. I guess the world is really in demand of nurses.

And since this post is about sonographers or those people who does ultrasound, are sonographers also in need on Ireland and on other countries. It's just wierd there are not so much people practicing being a sonographer. Here in the Philippines, I think it's not really easy to see one.

Anyway, thanks for the comment :)
