Lame Dragon Dance

When I was a kid, I do saw dragon dance on the street. They are jumping, doing such stunts that would make you whoahhhhhhhhh
Most of those into the dragon dance are Chinese. Just this last quarter of the year, my husband and I have attended a reception that have hired dragon dancers. There are four dragons and they dances gracefully. The dragon jumps and leaps. The man holding the head of the dragon sit and stand on the shoulder of the man next to him.
But then shamefully, there are lame dragon dances that you'll see sometime around both Christmas and Chinese New Year season. Most of these lame dragons are Filipino dancers, or must I say "walkers". But I'm not really judging that they are Filipino. That's what I say because it is "them" who I see in the streets who are walking and got a can for donations. I actually saw the man holding the head of the dragon on two hands, and on one of his hand is a can. Imagine, he holds both the head and the can.
