I do not understand Snapchat

I do not understand Snapchat. Yeah I do not have any friends thete yet. I thought I can use it for my online shop. But after installing the app on my mobile phone, I am literally lost.

I mean, what is that for? I had been a programmer. My online shops are searchable at search engines with some techniques. I sometimes edit the source code of my blogs. But really, I do not inderstand Snapchat.
