How to get pregnant Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)
I would like to share to you how I get pregnant. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). It's a case wherein a woman doesn't regularly have her monthly menstruation. This means that there's no egg formed. On ultrasound result, no mature follicle found when it should be.
Mature follicle = developed egg that can make you pregnant.
PCOS can be treated. But sometimes, it depends on the situation, I guess. How did I get pregnant?
I went to an OB-Gyn. She gave a schedule of when to take medicine. Take note, all steps below have dates indicated by the OB-Gyn. It's a guide so the patient don't waste time waiting for the egg to mature.
If the ultrasound result shows that there's no mature follicle, the OB would again prescribe you the medicine that would make you menstruate (see step 1).
Then my OB-Gyn added the medicine Metformin after I think three rounds of step 1 to 3 to help develop the egg. After I think two more rounds with more Clomid and Metformin on the prescription, there's a mature follicle found in the ultrasound result.
My OB-Gyn suggested that I take a injection-form of "additional boost". I did accept the boost because I really had a hard time on my situation and that mature follicle is my chance to get pregnant.
Well, thanks to my OB-Gyn, I got pregnant. Check my Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome OB-Gyn.

- Take medicine so menstruation would come. The follicles that didn't mature is useless.
- Take clomid.
- Go back to OB for ultrasound to check if the follicle has matured (mature follicle is the egg that is capable of developing into a baby).
