OB stands for obstetrician. An obstetrician is a physician who is trained to guide the pregnant woman from the time of pregnancy to child birth.

Gyn stands for gynecologist. A gynecologist is a physician who is trained to help woman on getting pregnant.

I got pregnant by looking for an OB/GYN. A friend told me about an OB/GYN she meets to get her pregnant. Luckily, my only problem is having an irregular menstruation. I have polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). My egg didn't get mature so I don't have an egg to get pregnant.

The OB/GYN helped me make my the egg mature. And that's how I got pregnant.
