Being A Money Provider Doesn't Make You A "God"
There are people I have encountered in life and in work that thought they are my "God" since they provide me money. What am I talking about?
People I refer as money provider:
Our family maid and I understand each other. I respect her as a human being. We talk, we chat, we tell stories... I don't lie to her. I don't tell her promises. We only tell her the truth, no sound plans. If there are problems, we do work it out. Our maid is free to go home and come back to us. Okay, we had promised her one thing. She'll get a yearly salary increase =) And of course, we'll give it to her.
With my parents-in-law, I give them the freedom to do anything they want. They can buy anything they want. They don't provide money to us but they take good care of my son. They cook good food. I don't know how to cook. My mother-in-law won't allow me to cook even if it's only to cook an egg! So in return, I try to earn as much as possible. That's why I'm also selling online, and try to make money online. I'm talking about sacrifices and respect.
Now, let's talk about me as a money receiver. Let's start with the online sites. Online sites (the legit no nonsense ones of course) tell people to join their site. They would continuously provide good incentives for the amount of work you do.
My husband on the other hand, he's been open to how much he's making (when I ask him). I am open to cash out from the bank =p
To employers out there, event though you are money providers, make sure you threat your employees well.
When you are a money provider, that doesn't make you close to becoming the "God" of those people you provide money. You provide them money for something in return (which is the usual case). You can also provide money with no returns at all except the feeling of self-happiness and self-fulfillment like helping others by donations.
I never tell my maid that she's lucky she's employed to us, that if we didn't exist, how would she live. Well, she needs a job, we need a maid. It's the same case to all work-related situations.
People I refer as money provider:
- People that earns money and are able to provide their family the necessities.
- People who employ and pay other people to make things done.
