Email Scam: Payment to billing@godaddy.com
Email Scam Alert!!!
A smartly constructed email message scam is on the loose. I just received an email from the email notification@paypal-us.intl.com containing the following email message.
I ALMOST CLICKED the "Click here" link. And lucky, I remembered, I didn't have any website hosted on GoDaddy. What would I cancel? I didn't pay anything to GoDaddy. Then I read the email again from top to bottom. And the email is from notification@paypal-us.intl.com. It's from paypal-us.intl.com. It's not PayPal.
This email is a scam! Do not click and give your information on that link. Do not enter your PayPal username and password too. It can be a phising site where in the user would be asked to login. But the real thing is, the site would just get your information.
