WWE by Vince McMahon
If you are a regular viewer of the WWE, short for World Wrestling Entertainment, it has far more became an entertainment or stage-like matches compare to the good old days of Hulk Hogan and Macho Man. WWE before is WWF, which stands for World Wrestling Federation. Yes, wrestling is an entertainment.
Before, what you see are all wrestling matches. There are female wrestlers too who really wrestle. And there are the midgets fights too.
Now, Vince McMahon did some experimenting. What you see are a whole bunch of wrestling matches with story lines, like McMahon's daughter Stephanie and Triple H as husband and wife, McMahon against his wife, a little of love triagle and a whole bunch more. Want some more?
Wrestlers are now called WWE Superstars.
There are the so-called WWE divas - the pretty sexy women as wrestlers.
Sexy women wrestlers on night gowns or bikinis.
Sexy women wrestlers on pillow fight.
Sexy women wrestlers on strip clothes fight.
Sexy women wrestlers bisexual acts.
Mission to destroy someone, like trying to drive a car and hitting another wrestler.
Too violent matches.
I as a kid watch wrestling with my sister and my father. All those scenes doesn't happen before. WWE has evolved with its name. But it became too much and enough. Some cable networks wasn't able to approve WWE on their network. I'm not sure if it's because of the rating or if the price is too much. So, McMahon changed his strategy.
No more too violent scenes (Yes, scenes not fight) from WWE. McMahon is trying to make WWE as entertaining as possible so kids could watch too. Maybe it's like your kids watching Batman and the Joker on TV cartoon series?
No more of those too sexy attires of female wrestlers. I guess a lot of male viewers hate this idea hahaha...
WWE would be strict on drug testing too, so the tradegy like what happened on Chris Benoit who killed his family then committed suicide won't happen again.
McMahon is planning to open up his own cable network. He plans to of course show WWE on his cable.
