I'm Gonna Have A Credit Card
Things have been running great for me these past few days. First, I won a plaster water container for buying a BayadDirect card last Mother's day. And now for the first time, I'm going to have my very own credit card. I hadn't had a credit card before, even supplementary.
My husband and I were in the Banco de Oro bank opening a new account just yesterday morning. After submitting the forms, I asked my husband how about me having a credit card. My husband has a Gold Card*. I'll be getting hmmm I don't know. I told the bank manager that a ShopMore will do. She said that ShopMore is not a nice credit card, and that she'll give me another type of credit card. I even don't need to submit any requirements at all*.
Then the bank manager and I were talking about the importance of credit card. Yeah, last Sunday, I need to buy a bottle of contact lens solutions, Promil milk powder and Cerelac. I only bought the first two items on the list because the money is not enough. I thought a thousand Pesos from my husband's wallet (from my salary) is enough. Then we talked about raising kids, yayas, mother-in-laws...
I'm so excited to get the card!!!
Note: *My husband have a Gold Card because he has a ShopMore credit card before. He has been good to the Manager of the bank. Since he got lots of friends who have a hard time speaking Tagalog and English, he assists them on opening their bank account on that particular Banco de Oro branch. His friends are all small, medium and big businessmen. That's why the bank manager loves him very much.
PS. The manager always gives my husband coffee to drink hahaha... I also had my cup yesterday!!! Yummy coffee!

hmmm... credit card??
so the manager told you how important having a credit card is ha... hmmm... just be sure you wont skip/delay paying the bill coz they do have a way on how to go around card holders without em noticing it.. *wink*... alam mo i know alotta people who did get into trouble dahil sa interes ... :P...
yung officem8 ko e from 5k umabot ng 20k .. tsk..
but im sure naman this wont happen sayo.. kaw pa.. hehe..
belated happy moms day berry!!!
anyway,
Thanks for the reminder and the greet.
Nopes, we don't delay payments on the credit card bill. We only use credit card para isang singilan na lang. Pag dating ng bill, bayad kami agad. And yan ren mangyayari sa credit card ko.
grabe! paano nangyari yung 5k naging 20k? dahil sa interest?
Seems like first time mo magkaroon ng credit card. Good for you congrats!
I never had a credit card in my life. Tried applying to several banks when I was still working but nobody wanted me, huhuhu.
But that's a good thing, I tend to make unnecessary expenses. Maybe that why @RonTuron mentioned that his officemate reached 5k to 20k - baka di na mabayaran ang bill.
And I had another officemate who was forced to find work abroad just to settle his bill amounting to 50k.
am happy for you dear c:
pero ayaw ko din magkaroon nyan I tend to be magastos pagganyan e :p
wow at ano naman ang ginastos nya at umabot ng 50k credit card nya???
by the way, no requirements needed, pati salary, no need hehehe, kasi lahat ng money ko ngayon nasa branch na yun... mga about... hehehe
Enjoy your card - but not too much ;)
lahat ng nasa credit card ko, i think ako ang magbabayad, kahit na gatas ni baby, after all, sa sueldo ko naman talaga mga gastusin sa bahay...
pero sana hindi ako masyadong matemp magshopping hahaha
pero la ren time for that so ok lang
