I Need Help on SSS and PhilHealth for Pregnancy Benefits

Can someone please guide me on SSS and PhilHealth benefits? Here's my info...

First day of last menstruation: September 5, 2007
Pregnancy labor probably on: June 2008

I have SSS and PhilHealth account and IDs.
I have NOT contributed on SSS and PhilHealth for about 2 years.

Would start contributing on SSS and PhilHealth starting this February 2008.

Questions:
  1. Can I still get my benefits?
  2. Should I fill-up SSS and PhilHealth forms as early as now and submit it to them, informing them that I am pregnant?
  3. Shall I submit anything to the hospital before I have my labor?
  4. What are the steps that I have to do?

I really don't have any idea on SSS and PhilHealth benefits. Please help.

hi, i bloghopped from chelle's site. Since you have not made any contributions for 2 years now, i am afraid you will not be able to claim your benefits at SSS and Philhealth. With regards to question no3, no don't give any hospitalization documents to your hospital just yet. Wait until you have given birth. They will give you the list of requirements anyways as soon as you checked-in. Just bring them (for ex. marriage license, etc)

If you have anymore questions, just ask me.
