Anmum or Non-fat Milk?
They say Anmum for pregnant women. But other doctors doesn't recommend pregnancy milk like Anmum or Enfamama for their patients. One of the doctors with such thinking is my OB-Gyne Dra. Ditas Decena.Why? Here are the reasons...
1. Milk specially made for pregnant women makes you fatter, and the baby too.
2. A newly born baby should not weigh more than 8 lbs., less than 7 lbs. is also bad.
3. A big baby, fat baby, baby weighing more than 8 lbs., or whatever you or the doctor want to call it doesn't mean it is a really healthy baby compare to those 7 pounders. This also causes CS labor.
4. When a pregnant woman gets more fat, she would be in risk of high blood or other fat-related diseases. The doctor doesn't want that to happen. Any disease the pregnant woman has, the baby might gets it.
As of now, I'm into Nestle Nesvita Non-fat powdered milk. I would still be in search if there is a better non-fat milk for me and my baby.
An Update to this post:
I know lots of pregnant women do prefer non-fat over Anmum. My OB said I don't need Anmum, just eat right she said. I think she's right. But on my condition, I can't eat right. So after taking some of the non-fat milk, I switch to Anmum.

The Mummy 3 Production Blog
Who loves The Mummy? I do I do!!!
Well I guess most people have loved The Mummy part 1 and 2. The part 2 is kind of the continuation of its part 1.
Now, part 3 has a new villain. He is no other than Jet Li playing as the Chinese Dragon Emperor. New villain means new story for the movie. I hope this will also become a big hit. I love The Mummy. I love Jet Li. What else can I ask for?

On Yellow Light, Should You Stop Your Car?
My husband has been a victim of the stop light. He's always ordered by cops, traffic enforcers, or even street assistance people to stop and "pay" for this violation. When I ask my husband before why won't he stop on the yellow light, he would say "I can't stop on the middle of the road."
Sometimes, I'm with my husband on the car, just like a few hours ago. Then the street assistance people (I don't know what to call them. They are wearing white t-shirts.) tried to stop our car. We didn't stop the car. What's the violation? How could you stop the car immediately when you are infront of the pedestrian line then the stop light suddenly turns yellow? The car at the back would surely bump on us.
I guess "they" should attend a seminar about this stop light issue.

Deal or No Deal - Kris Aquino as Contestant
Last night October 13, 2007, Kris Aquino is the contestant of the show. And the host for the night, no other than her friend Boy Abunda.
Kris Aquino would be donating her prize to the Ronald McDonald House Charities (If I'm not mistaken, THAT is the name of the Ronald McDonald foundation).
Kris' family is there. The first female president of the Philippines Cory Aquino (Kris' mother) is also present. Mariel of Wowowee is also there.
This is the first time Kris would be playing on her own show. She doesn't seem nervous, and not too excited, but she is happy to be a contestant of the show.
Unfortunately, she picked on the wrong numbers. Everytime she would pick a series of numbers, she would also pick the highest remaining prize. She had picked on the 3M, then the 2M, then the 1M, then the 0.5M then the 0.25M.
Bravely as she is, she sticked to her box number 9 which has the prize of 50 Pesos.
Poor Kris. Banker is only doing his job as he says it. Poor Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Last night's special Deal or No Deal game is because of the McDonald's new commercial featuring Kris Aquino with the Deal or No Deal theme. The commercial is also first shown on the series of Deal or No Deal show commercials.
Desperate Housewives Boycott Issue

This like is really a bomb that exploded here in the Philippines. Many have protested and asked for an apology. Do Filipinos are country-loving or just overreacting?
There are so many issues the government and the Filipinos should be checking into. There is the quality of public education, the OFWs being maltreated on other countries, the corruption on the Philippine government and so many others.
Why are we taking that DH episode so seriously? That is just a show/movie/script that is not really intended to discriminate medical people here in the Philippines. It is just Hatcher's character on DH. Nothing more.
Filipinos have done so many local comedy movies that insults and discriminates Americans, Black Americans, Chinese, Japanese, Muslims and even their own people. Why are those movies not banned?
I would like to compare this issue to a flash animation. DH episode = flash animation. Many flash animations are made to make laugh of some people. There are countless of animations regarding US President Bush dancing and everything. There are also about Britney Spears and other well known people. Did Bush file a complaint? No. Are there any flash animators ordered to attend a court meeting with such animations? No. But what if there would be a flash animation about the Philippines, like the DH episode, I'm sure there would be so many who would protest, bann and even hunt down the sites where the flash animation is hosted.
This is my point of view and my comparison. I am not comparing med people with flash animations, but comparing how would one react on such matter.

Adobe Flex systemManager_removedHandler() Error
Adobe Flex hasn't still solved the problem on their error...
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

Dra. Ditas Decena, An OB-Gyn
Dra. Ditas Decena has helped me with my ovulation. I had gone with two other doctors, one known especially to the Chinese-Filipino Community, and the other one is I guess a new OB (not really so new but she's young). The two, well, I don't really think they can help me with my problem.
Until a good friend refered to me her OB-Gyn. Dra. Ditas is a good OB-Gyn who would guide you all the way. I didn't get pregnant after marriage because I have a problem with my ovulation.
After only about 2 or 3 months (I'm not so sure I forgot), I am now pregnant! She takes into consideration the findings of my past OBs (unlike my second OB).
While searching the Internet, about OBs, I found a forum where someone is recommending the same doctor. And she even mentioned that Dra. Ditas Decena is one of the best OB-Gyn in the Philippines.
I thought I would never get pregnant. Thanks to Dra. Ditas Decena for her care and guidance.

I found a great website about eating nutritious foods and being fit. My Fitness Pal is a free-to-join calorie counter website that can help us in our healthy diet and eating lifestyle.
The site provides nutritional facts of every food available. You can choose what food to check on, how much you have taken in, and then the site would show how much calories the food has. They provide a wide range of food to choose from. They have nutritional facts on any kind of fruits upto the sweets.
As a member, you can keep track of what food you are eating and see if it still falls under a healthy diet. A Private Blog and A Public Blog, Do You Have Both?
I don't know if other people do have a private blog and a public blog, but I do.
My private blog is way back year 2005. My posts there are mostly for myself only, and maybe for some good friends that I'm willing to share my life with. It's more about my life, my work, my experiences, latest happenings on my life, and those that I hate (can be someone). There are also reviews regarding movies that I've watched and books I have read.
My public blog on the other hand is open to the public. I put FeedBurner, Technorati and MyBlogLog to this blog. I even put Alexa ratings. I put this blog's FeedBurner as my signature on some forums I've joined.
My public blog have movie reviews, book reviews and some happenings on me too. But things about my life on this blog are more of a little less complicated. I know you know what I mean. I also use this blog for posting my online income opportunities. I have subscribed to some get-paid-to-post programs on the Internet. In short, I'm earning money with this blog.
My private blog is clean and cute. It's pink and has a music background. I also changed the default cursor into a flower.

NYFD - The Fries and The Dip
First time, tasted it and I like it so much! I'll have one next time I pass by SM Megamall's Foodcourt. It's the NYFD or the NY Fries & Dips. They have this selections of dips and their large cut fries deep-fried in pure Canola oil (sunflower oil). I have their regular size worth 40php and never thought that would make me too stuffed. The fries is not oily. And for uniqueness sake, the fries are served in cups.
* This is not a commercial. I just love their fries =)
